Dubbing of Age

Hey, you guys!  Randomfanboy has taken it upon himself to enlist a bunch of folks to do voices of characters from Dumbing of Age and then marry this audio to panels from the comic!  You know, because he’s awesome.  This project is called Dubbing of Age, because, duh, and you can follow his and the voice talents’ progress on the Dubbing of Age YouTube channel.

It’s pretty damn amazing.  Check out a teaser below, featuring 50maidsofgray as Joyce and I-don’t-know-who-can’t-find-a-name as Dorothy!

    I tried to contact him to see if any of my peeps from TFCog might be able to help–we’ve got some semi-pro voice actors, a composer, and a horrible amateur animator (myself), but never heard anything back from him.

    Hmmm. These might work better if Willis supplied them without lettering. Put the transcripts in the subtitle file instead.

    As a voice actor who isn’t above reading a webcomic aloud for maximum effect, I heartily endorse this.

    It’s also worth noting that the talented voice actresses lending their vocal chords to this work have also provided splendid voices for the fantastic “Homestuck Colab” or “Let’s Read MSPaint Adventures”.

    If you have no idea what that is, or why that makes this at least 100 times more awesome…
