Thanks to Dreaming_Pixels, finally Joyce has reached peak rebellion — she’s bought a scooter!  Suck it, norms!  I met Dreaming_Pixels, aka “Beth,” in Bloomington on Wednesday.  She’s awesome!  Let us dig this art, together.

    Is the helmet supposed to be looking like the Head Alien?
    And speaking as a cyclist and a student of history, a flowing scarf like that is not a good idea.  Could get caught in the rear wheel and cause a crash or even death a la Isadora Duncan.

        I may have done that on purpose… The helmet thing, that is. 😀 The scarf was for dramatic flourish – as a scooterer myself, I know long scarves are bad news bears on a scooter.

      Oh. I was thinking the actual “B Word” fell off, like it was implied that she had “bongo” embroidered on one patch and then it fell off, and… yeah.
