    Phoenix is in Arizona. Arizona is basically West West Texas. I think Joyce’ll be okay.

    Well it will probably be like 95-100 degrees outside. That’s something to not look forward to. XD Also for some reason Downtown Phoenix where the convention center is lacks eateries and the convention food is terrible. TERRIBLE.

      Oddly enough, I live south of Phoenix and we’re about 10-15 degrees cooler than Phoenix. Still…I’ll take 100 degrees over 30 any day.
      However, thank you for the tip on the lack of eateries. I shall bring food!

    phoenix will freak her out because it is a place that exists in defiance of the will of god. there is no reason for there to be a city there. none. it’s bare-assed desert and all the water is piped in from somewhere else.

    Why is the percentage of voters who didn’t pledge to the Kickstarter campaign climbing over time?

      It can only go up. The Kickstarter has 775 backers while Dumbing of Age has about 40,000 readers. If everyone who read the strip answered the poll, the “didn’t pledge” option would be 99%.

    Joyce might freak out. Phoenix is Arizona’s Austin, TX. You got Jan Brewer and Sherrif Joe Tea Party and Fundie RWNJs in Greater Arizona, but Phoenix is Gabby Territory. Real eye opener for a almost Mormon Home Schooler like Joyce.

      Are you kidding me? Phoenix is still very, very red. Joyce should be right at home. It’s Flagstaff and Tucson that are blue, liberal islands in AZ.
