BUT there are apparently a lot of places on the Interwebs these days where you can just, like, upload an image and then someone will sell that t-shirt and you don’t have to keep an inventory and also cry because you have an inventory for forever. Long story short, I was curious to see if my T-shirt Curse is still a thing, so I uploaded some simple graphics to TeePublic to see how they fare. Just an experiment to see, like, will people buy something with Carla on it. These are not high-concept shirts. (Well okay one of them is sort of high-concept.) Dumbing of Age Book 5 is now available in the online store! I GUESS holiday shopping season has officially started as of today, so have at it! You can buy it normal and plain, or upgrade to a signed/sketched version.
There are also some five-book combo packs of both Dumbing of Age and Shortpacked! books.
Also new to the store is a set of 8 character magnets left over from the Book 4 Kickstarter. It’s missing the ninth magnet, Joyce, because I’m kinda out of her Book 4 magnet, but for now there are eight magnets left you can get as a set.
Also also new in the store is the “To Those Who Ground Me” 11″x17″ poster! It’s new to the store because I forgot to put it in the store last spring when it was actually new. But it’s pretty!
Here’s a “comic” of sorts that I put on my various social media accounts yesterday, but figured maybe it wouldn’t hurt for them to have a permanent on-my-actual-website-which-I-personally-own home. So here they are!
This is one of those ideas which don’t really have a place in the webcomic itself, as Joyce and her universe are kinda anchored outside of time. Dumbing of Age doesn’t exist in any specific year (as mentioned in the FAQ), and this idea required the calling out of actual years and actual events in real history. Sliding timescales are neat but sometimes also kind of not!
plus also if i wrote this comic yesterday and put it into the buffer today it wouldn’t even publish until next january anyway so
