This Saturday and Sunday, I’m gonna be at Cartoon Crossroads Columbus (CXC) here in my very own hometown of Columbus, Ohio.  It’s an annual comics convention held at the library downtown!  And, like, one of those real comics conventions, with actual comics people there.  There’s bigtime comic book folks this year, like Brian Michael Bendis and Matt Fraction, and also us webcomic folks are represented, like Melanie Gillman, Ngozi Ukazu, and Blue Delliquanti.  And also, crazily, announced at the last minute is special guest Olivia Jaimes, the enigmatic new artist behind the newspaper strip Nancy.  She’s gonna have a late Sunday panel and we don’t even know who she really is, it’s exciting! It’s also a incredibly nice-looking location, with lots of windows.  90% windows.  I mean, it’s a library.  An amazingly-nice library.  I was there a few hours last year and it was just… cozy. Anyway, I’ll be there!  I’ll be at table 6!  (It’s first thing on the right hand side, can’t miss me.)  I’ll have books and magnets and probably some prints. ADMISSION IS FREE because it’s in a library

It’s 112 pages of the first It’s Walky! storyline from way back in 2000, plus its 2004-2014 redraw!  Get the book clean or get it signed/doodled in! S’up to you.

You can now get the Book 5 Kickstarter magnets in the Dumbing of Age store!  These are the 11 magnets that are left over, since after the campaign I’m out of Malayas.  (Joyce is also in relatively limited quantities.) These join the Book 4 Kickstarter magnets set, a set of 8 magnets since that set’s Joyce is gone.  Additionally, I’ve just got SIX Carlas left, and once she’s gone, it’ll be suddenly and magically become a set of 7 magnets. There’s also a bundle of both magnet sets, if you want to spend a little less moolah on the pair.

I’ve never done terribly well with t-shirts, which is generally why I never, like, have t-shirts to sell.  It’s not rocket science.  BUT there are apparently a lot of places on the Interwebs these days where you can just, like, upload an image and then someone will sell that t-shirt and you don’t have to keep an inventory and also cry because you have an inventory for forever.  Long story short, I was curious to see if my T-shirt Curse is still a thing, so I uploaded some simple graphics to TeePublic to see how they fare.  Just an experiment to see, like, will people buy something with Carla on it.  These are not high-concept shirts.  (Well okay one of them is sort of high-concept.)  So if “Dumbing of Age character on a t-shirt” intrigues you, then there is good news for you today.  It is especially good news for the next two days (as of this posting), ‘cuz the introductory price is $6 off the regular price.  So!
