I’m all aboard the Walky/Amber ship. I loved how they could both accept each other without pressuring each other to be different (or feel internal pressure to be different to live up to their partner’s imagined expectations). Walky could never have that with Dorothy….

I literally did not know about this movie until tonight. The fact that it stars Ralph Fiennes, Uma Thurman, and Sean Connery, and still managed to get an IMDB rating of 3.7…”incomprehensible” is a truly appropriate word.

To be fair, the original series didn’t sport many comprehensible plots. But robots as murderers and model planes that drop bombs on offending parties are incredibly cool ideas for that time. (Not to mention that Emma didn’t always need to be rescued and obviously was the more intelligent of the pair).
