    Yes, the floating timeline means that TikTok was now a thing at the start of this story. Of course, by the time next semester rolls around we’ll all be receiving our memes in pill form, so this comment will be dated.

          Googled it, and according to some website, the average breast size (36C) corresponds to a weight of around 2lb per breast, while a D cup might mean up to 3.5lb/boob. The same page cautions that these are rough averages and actual weight will vary and even hilariously describes how to use the Archimedes principle to measure your own boobs’ weight.

          But i guess the takeaway as far as this crucial conversation is concerned, is that jennifer’s breasts do not weigh 15lb, that is a probably morbidly high weight

    So, I’m wondering: does anyone have any leading theories on whether/where the name “Charlie” comes from in the original Walkyverse? There’s no obvious connection. Booster’s named for the Power Booster Rod, but that doesn’t give me any easy leads. The PBR is also a Transformers reference, but it’s an obscure one, though Transformers DOES has a lot of Charlies, not to forget Charlenes and Charlottes…?

    This may be a little wild, but is it possible that her name is meant to be a distant, humanized corruption of “The Cheese”? The PBR and Cheese were pretty closely connected, but the Cheese is already in DOA as a cartoon character, and it’s a big stretch.

          I think it was just that he had a hard time understanding me as a person. I also had a hard time understanding him as a person. Likely as a result of my anxiety + limited facial expressions = it was difficult for people to tell what I was thinking most times and I can’t tell what other people are thinking easily either.

        Teenage me loved Flash animations and games. I remember one version of that launch game where a yeti hits a penguin with a baseball bat, and you could make the penguin flap its flippers for slight altitude control. You could pick up boosts and points off of balloons or something like that.

    I know Booster’s a divisive cast member, but I am enjoying a bit of them around. I do think it sort of helps when they’re regularly getting called out for the intrusiveness, so everything with them and Amber onward is hitting better than before.

      Reminds me of Eh, I think the outfit he wore to the brunch was more chic than the “I just threw it on” look he normally goes for. It’s not much but as a guy who just wears t-shirts and hoodies all the time, I absolutely recognize that’s a step up, fashion-wise.

        Interesting how ‘tucked’ shirts are expected in some cases. Other than a shirt being excessively long (or maybe too short and showing a bit of belly ppl wanna hide) i don’t know how practical it is to tuck a shirt rather than exact length , tho i hate waering jeans now, have some sweatpants so if i do get a ‘proper’ job i’d probably have to wear my darker sweatpants/depending on the material and shirts long enough to cover the ‘zipper’ area so it’s not obvious that they’re not normal pants tho i suppose sweatpants should be ok for work pants as long as they’re not super baggy

        Tho, there are some pretty neat hoodies out there lol.

          I love baggy hanging shirts and jackets that hide my sillhouette cuz they make me feel less chubby. And they just feel loose and free. Button downs and tucked in shirts just make me feel bloated. I love jeans though.

          def prefer looser dresses. i prefer pullover hoodies but most jackets would make for a nice fit/warmth if you go one or two sizes up, i prolly need new ones, not that i’ve gained too much weight but i think a couple old ones feel a bit ‘tight’ and sometimes my sleeves/under arms area have felt ‘tight’ even tho i have fairly skinny arms be/cause of lack of muscles lol, downsides of time and again, alas lol

          something big enough to hide a pet would be amusing ,if not a weapon lol 8D; i haven’t rly needed a belt since high school but i def have to buy 2-3 sizes up because it feels like it’d be too tight if i gained like 2 pounds versus like a full 5 but i prolly just need better brands or more stretchable ones. but hoodie dresses are overall comfier/cuter and a big enough size you can get away with wearing just that and maybe some leggings underneath

        Dorms are an American thing. Over here, approximately nobody lives on campus… usually there isn’t even a campus, just a few buildings scattered over the city. Most universities don’t own a single bed.

          I was in a dorm for my two years of technical school. The dorm actually belonged to the high school that the tech school was administratively a part of. I even got to be floor boss on my second year, or i guess RA? Is that what Ruth is? Whatever that means. i didnt call any floor meetings, never even considered bodyslamming anybody, proved shockingly lax in my application of the rules and in fact got fired from my position when i failed to sleep at the dorm one weekend (basically the only actual job requirement) and something happened? maybe a fire alarm or something. Good times!

          I think it actually derives from old British Universities. Places like Oxford had dormitories going way back.
          Later in the US, many state universities were built outside of big cities and thus didn’t have a lot rental housing available for students. A lot more dorms were built to house the massive wave of students going to school on the GI Bill after WWII.

          In any case I think she’s often self aware and ironic, with humorous intent? This strip and the previous strip almost make it feel like this character is literally ribbing on the character archetype that she is. It’s funny to me and I like it.

      i think they’re fine, any dislike of them i’ve seen is a vocal minority, or coming off as abrasive/maybe an ‘acquired taste’ but can’t like everyone lol. def a much deeper chara/ver to keep around versus mike
