This was the first time I drew Dina's hat after having sewn like 15 of them into existence.

        She definitely closed it herself. I had the same first impression you did, but the hand on the door is at the wrong angle. Mike looks disappointed that he didn’t get to slam it on her.

        Why is evil measured in kilonazis? Nazis were pretty much one of the worse things ever and kilo suggests that average evil is 1,000 times worse, so if anything the standard measurement of evil should be millinazis.

        Kilonazis should be reserved for things like Eldritch Abominations.

    Dina reminds me a little of my roommate’s guinea pig, who huddles at the back of the cage every time the cage door is opened. Dina! If you let yourself be known, people might like you and pat you on the head!

    That said, this scene was adorable.

    It occurs to me that DOA Ethan and Amber are probably largely immune to Mike’s general level of jackass, so he might not bother to be a jackass around just them. That stuff’s no fun if you don’t get a reaction.
    Or it could just be that since Willis is the person who created Mike, he’s channeling Mike’s ultimate philosophy “I’m whatever you don’t want me to be” and consistently keeping Mike rather lowkey to continuously kick all of us Mike-worshippers in the metaphorical nuts.

    Yeeah, Mike doing it may have worked better, but he’s apparently a lot more subtle in this ‘verse. Or he just used to be irritated because he has had it with those motherfucking aliens at that motherfucking SEMME.

    Did Willis ever see some Haruhi Suzumiya, because the blank expression and the “It’s fine” is totally channeling some Yuki Nagato there.

    And maybe Dina is only like this: “No, that’s totally fine that you opened the door at me. See? I’ll open it on myself. Oh, you want some food? Fine, take my seat at this table. I’ll just eat some dog food from here on the floor. No, that’s totally fine. Woof woof.”

      Then I can stay up to attempt to draw this. Because that would be cute. Horrifyingly sad, but still cute.

      And Dina doing it worked so much better – Mike doesn’t even have a CHANCE to be an asshole to her.
