          True enough. I suspect that this Amber also has more than her fair dose of issues. Different issues manifesting themselves differently, but the Amazigirl persona probably isn’t just the work of a hobbyist. This is likely an early sign of the sorts of stuff she’ll have to overcome.

    I just noticed this–the way Amber (yes, AMBER, everyone just shut the hell up) cocks an eyebrow at the tape recorder in the second panel looks to me like she didn’t expect to find it there…which means she might’ve been breaking into Sal and Billie’s room for a completely unrelated reason and this was just a pleasant surprise. Thoughts?

    Does this redeem Danny? It’s one thing to not “take advantage” of a woman, but It’s another thing to hold it for someone else. This also means that Danny lied to Joe earlier.

      This makes no sense to me. Do you mean that Danny is planing to take advantage of Amber? And how did he lie to Joe? He omitted that his liking another girl was a factor, but I don’t think that really constitutes a lie. Everything he said looks like it matches up to me.

        I think C’s implication is that his main reason for not sleeping with Billie was because he liked Amber, and if it hadn’t been for that, he would have been totally willing–no ‘not taking advantage.’ So he was lying to Joe, because ‘not taking advantage’ wasn’t really his reason.

        Don’t really think that’s true, though, I think Danny honestly didn’t want to take advantage of Billie, because sleeping with a girl who you don’t really care about just because she’s hot and available can be considered ‘taking advantage’. And I think Danny probably would have thought of it that way–even though Billie didn’t care about him either. The fact that he also likes another girl just added to it. So yeah, he just omitted that part when he explained it to Joe. I don’t think he lied.

          I’m not sure Joe would understand not bumping uglies with someone just because you liked someone else. Especially if you hadn’t sealed the deal with the other one. Of course with him sealing the deal means you can now move on to the next.

          No point trying to explain how much you like someone else to Joe., he would either call you hurtful names or try to help you by using his powers of seduction on the girl you like to tell her you like her, Or try to get with her to prove she isn’t worth it.
