As much as I would like to see that ?, I don’t think Becky will handle it too well. That would be an interesting plot development, let’s go with that…

They are already too old to have really grown up with the ’87 version. That’s what I grew up with and I’m approaching twice their age (*sob!*).
Considering Walky is still very much a fan of cartoons, and DT ’17 is truly excellent (I watch it despite my decrepitude), I see no reason he wouldn’t be into it.
I wouldn’t mind a Walky relapse on Dotty’s part, I like them together and think they are good for each other. But on the other hand Dotty has a healthy attitude about it so it’s all good.
Maybe it’s time for Joyce to admit she has some bi tendencies and ride that Dotty train?
On the other hand, despite her very best efforts, Dorothy was never able to get Walky to study on his own terms; he was only doing it for her, and even then he basically self-sabotaged every study session with Jason.
Amber managed to do it (admittedly, mostly via hacking his grades for a self-esteem boost).
Order of the Stick has not resumed updating yet, probably because of the Cthuluhoid weirdness that is the International Date Line. (It doesn’t pass through R’lyeh by accident, boys and girls!) Or because OotS’s server is west of DoA’s server. Or something. But I have a reprieve! It will definitely be at least 3 February in every part of the USA 24 hours from now. Unless OotS does not update until very very late in something like Hawai’ian Time it ought to sneak in before Mike comes up like a big red rubber ball.
Walky is Dorothy’s ex. Dorothy misses him. Joyce doesn’t want them back together because she and Walky are like bratty little siblings who like to give each other shit.
