      He’s not mute per se, but he realised that he can be even more of a dick by pretending to have a disability and then suddenly disabusing everyone of the notion at the same time. Until he does, he will only communicate in semaphore.

        ALTERNATE GUESS: Every time Sal opens a door, it hits Mike in the teeth, so she never appears and he never talks.

          No i’m fairly sure that machete’s parallel isn’t DoA cause i’m fairly sure his had seme,the martians, head alien,ect. Also would people lol or curse willis’ name at the sky if he were to pull dannyxjoyce

          I think the pairings ending up as different from previous canon would be alright, or at least make sense. These people, while they have traits and appearances in common with the other universe, appear to largely not have the same amount of damage (if aliens are absent, the no childhood abduction/superpower trauma). IE Sal didn’t see her parents die in front of her, didn’t cling to Danny and Mary during High School b/c he paid attention to her = different Sal who may come to love Danny for who he is and he may love her for who she is.

          I’m all for non-previous-universe-canon pairings. They may be different, but I feel it should be expected.

        I’m going to place my bet on it not only happening in the same panel, but somehow Mr. Willis will make it happen at the same TIME, like Sal will break through Mike’s first speech bubble or something. Mostly because he was the one who told us to take bets.

    I love panel two so much. There was both talk of violence, and someone getting pissed off nearly to the point of current violence– Mike isn’t just leaning into that panel, he’s leaning into that panel hard.

    Mike and Walky are the best roommates ever. Mike is, well, Mike, and Walky is laid-back and teasing enough that Mike would inwardly smirk at his comebacks and Walky would love making fun of Mike.
