If it’s a fairly silly show with some Important Plot Episodes, I’ll recommend just those ones and maybe some of the better silly ones. Every single show in existence has throwaway episodes that were created to fill a quota for a network, and it’s always morally correct to leave them in the bin.

Even then, history is littered with lost works that we only know ever existed because of references in writings that did survive.
I find it baffling that people today try to determine Sapho’s sexual orientation, based on what? a few surviving texts (transcribed and translated accross millenia) and a lot of gossip from authors who had their own biases? not to mention our modern, western separation of bi vs lesbian (which is a late 20th century phenomena, mind you) might just not actually apply at all, that far outside our cultural context.

Their Adjective-Noun meant I could use a name that would even look like a common human name without breaking lore convention. And while it wouldn’t have been unlikely for me to use “Amber” as a forename for this purpose, Willis’ comics probably helped to bring that name to mind more quickly. It took me a while to pick out a surname until I thought some more about “a name that would hide me in plain sight, beneath notice.” …Which brought the Stone Mask from Majora’s Mask to mind, and then I realized… Stone! Perfect! So her name is Amber Stone.
