          I do typesetting for all of my translation projects, so I picked up on it pretty quickly. I like it better than the old one, personally. The one used until now looked more handwritten, but this one just looks cleaner. It also manages to not look too machined, which is nice. (I generally use Komika Slim on my projects, for what it’s worth.) What font is this, Willis? It looks familiar– is it Zud Juice?

          Red or pink backgrounds for black text are generally tougher on the eyes for anyone, if I remember correctly. I can imagine it’s worse with a color disorder in the mix.

          Today only the News/Tags box has the pink/salmon background instead of the old white.

          This site uses a style sheet, not HTML. The News/Tags box was never white, and it’s always a different color from the rest of the site, to set it off from the background. Its choice of color is on purpose.

          I know about CSS as I take care of my Boss’s company website (And CSS make it so easy to change stuff!!!).

          The box did look whitish before but was probably because my monitor.

          Well, from a dental care standpoint, toothpaste doesn’t help THAT much at all. It’s actually the brushing that does like 90% of the work. (Toothpaste does contain fluoride, which has long-term benefits, but that’s not doing much to get rid of food debris in your mouth.)

          (‘Course, I’m not a dentist.)

          Toothpaste also contains surfactants, substances that allow oil and water to mix, to make getting the really ground in stains out easier. It’s like the difference between washing the dishes without soap and washing them with. Still, soap can’t replace elbow grease.

          No, lol, I’ve never seen anyone do that before. Kinda defeats the purpose (also can’t see how it stays on through the night, like that? ehhh) Usually if you have long straight hair you wrap it with a scarf.

          I’ve never seen the documentary but I’ve heard lots of black women complain about it being inaccurate, seeing as Chris Rock is not a woman with hair and all, so I’d take it with a grain of salt.

    I’m feeling this on a deeply spiritual level. If someone were to wake me up by hovering over me and be obnoxiously happy and morning-person-y, I would straight-up punch them in the face. Hard.           I’d like to think her parents cared enough to visit her, but given the Freshman Family Weekend arc it does seem likely that they’ve almost totally blotted her out of their minds.

          Seeing each other for holidays counts as ‘barely spoken’, especially if she’s as taciturn as always WHEN she visits.

          Add in that she always dresses nice and acts nice around her parents, and his mild confusion over her more ‘badass’ appearance fits well, since he really wouldn’t have seen much of it.
