I know this has little to do with your comment, but I thought I’d share some trivia.
1) In the University of Toronto, it has a residence called “New Hall”. Not because it’s the newest res, but because it was named after a guy named New.
2) McGill’s Student Center is unofficially called the William Shatner building, because he went there for one semester. Sadly, it cannot be official as he neither paid for half of the building costs, nor is he dead. Everyone calls it the Shatner anyway, though.
Well, of course she’ll be the reporter rather than the editor,but what I meant is that when the editorial is up in arms about “Cape on the Campus: Whoever may it be???” she ‘ll be the one to still be submitting articles like “Dorkwad costume fad: a new menace?”
“Gah, NERDS, always distracting me from my IMPORTANT ADULT BUSINESS. Nerds like stupid WALKY, who keeps trying to be my FRIEND or something. There’s got to be some way I can open a line of communication with Sal, who is Walky’s sister, BUT WHAT CAN IT POSSIBLY BE? THINK!”
To be fair, if Billie hadn’t been all pouty about how everyone was giving Sal attention instead of her, she could have had every bit as much interaction with her as Walky has.
She’s probably just stalking the newspaper staff in general, hoping for some publicity… or leads to place where she can do some heroics. Newspapers are good for that.
Why can’t Billie be a cheerleader again? Even if Ruth doesn’t give back the uniform, can’t she just get a new one or like it was suggested, inform a member of the admin and get it returned?
And does Amazi-Girl think that Ruth is is going to attack Billie or something?

So, how many strips will it take before Billie decides to an expose in Amazi-Girl? My guess is that it will take around a month worth of strips; she is just THAT clueless.
Technically, Billie can be a cheerleader again for the college team, but starting out as a freshman, there aren’t that many social opportunities unless she joins a sorority. And yeah… with what sorority chicks are known for doing, who would honestly want to join one of those?

Obviously Billy can only start writing about AmaziGirl once she got an archenemy. That was the same for Spiderman and Superman, only with their superevil enemies they got popular in the news; before that they were crazy dudes who jumped around the houses or wore their underwear over their pants.
But there is a possible archenemy of AmaziGirl already:
The Ruthless or Red Ruth or Ruthambo or Ruth the R.A. and so on.
I can already see it happen: Billy shooting pics of fights between AmaziGirl who saves someone before the horrible fists/scissors/terror of The Ruthless/Red Ruth/Ruthambo/Ruth the R.A. and so on, writes a kick-ass story to it about crazy nuts who fight each other on the campus with costumes and voila:
She got the job cause everyone wants to know *Who´s AmaziGirl?* And then Billy´ll lose her job cause Sal got better pics about the fights than her. XDDD
See? They totally cheated! XD
Our poor AmaziGirl is no journalist in the newspaper like Spiderman/Superman, so Billy being her connection could be profitable for both of them.
AmaziGirl gets to read awesome stories about her heroic stuff and Billy gets paid for the job. 😀
