          No, Mike should be a physical therepy major. Shure it’s a medical profession, but it involves forcing crippled people to undergo repetitive extreamly painfull exercieses, then you get to tell them it was for ther own good.

    I love the hell out of the backgrounds in the last few pages. They are the perfect amount of not-much-detail to make the more-detailed-than-usual characters in the foreground pop out. This whole scene reads like it was filmed, with the BG just slightly out of focus.

    Also, Billie is totally trying to think of a way to go check out the awesome Motoslave bike without looking too much like a fangirl.

      I’ve seen motorcycles, but I’ve never actually *seen* a motorcycle. As in, I’ve never been within ten feet without a windshield between me and it. Or laid hands on one.

        Summer of 1980, I rode a motorcycle from Waukon, Iowa to Midland, Texas and back. It wasn’t a crotch-rocket like Sal’s, though – it was an older, clunkier machine featuring 8″-over forks and apehangers.

    I can see Mike as an engineer, simply because most engineers I’ve met are dicks. Its usually somewhat justified because they are going to go on to make way more money than pretty much everyone else (with exceptions of course). I’d feel superior too, but they’re still dicks.

    What better way to make everyone around you feel like crap than to mock all the arts students for their useless sociology degrees and lifelong debt from student loans?
