I dunno if it makes more sense for someone who has not been shown with a need to create an alternate persona who is immune to criticism to have one than it does that someone who was sent to Catholic school for delinquency is still delinquent, and now with twice as many abandonment issues.

Willis has said that he’s writing these characters so that they’ve already gone through most of the character arcs that their Walkyverse companions have. Joyce is more well-adjusted, Ethan came out in high school, etc. So Amber deciding to be Amazi-Girl could have happened a long time ago.
Let me guess…. Danny’s going to become obsessed about finding out the identity of the girl who saved him. To the point of completely forgetting about Dorothy.
And the shape of her hair, and the shape of her eyes, and the fact that the “hair” in the second panel could just as easily be a cape. And the fact that as a mild-mannered nerd, she has the motive to engage in a secret identity and save other nerds. This is a woman who beat up Robin and Mike on two separate occasions in SP!, so I’m pretty sure those jocks are easy pickings for her.
It’s Sal, but it’s Regular-Universe Sal! She’s realized what she’s thrown away over the years and left Jason. Unfortunatly, Danny is happily married in her universe, so she jumped through a dimensional portal to try to find a dimension where she can find him and be happy. Unfortunatly, this Danny is almost a decade and a half younger than her, making her not only a super-strong genetic experiment with depression and anger issues, but also the female equivilant of that creepy guy who hangs around the campus despite being much older than everyone else and isn’t even taking classes so he can hit on the girls.
You know what you made me realise? Many of the alternate universes have Cheese. I wonder if we’ll ever see this universe’s Cheese. The Cheese was bloody awesome!
