I think Amber has already Danned it up, and a break up is coming…but that doesn’t mean that Danny is into hot rebound sex, and I don’t think Ethan would feel comfortable fucking his best friend’s ex. I feel like he’d be the type to ask permission.

I wouldn’t really apply that to toxic, abusive relationships, though.
But like, that’s just me. I can’t seriously tell people that they must accept a certain level of abuse before they call it quits. Personally, I really, really don’t think Amber is even close to that. She fell back on learned behaviours from Blaine when she lost control of the situation, and then immediately apologized, blaming her inherent failures as a person for lashing out. If she kept doing it without any kind of attempt at changing, or worse even tried to justify it as “not that bad”, then yeah, it would be time to let go, but that’s not Amber. She’s not trying to justify it or anything; she immediately recognized her abusive behaviour as abusive.
