Which she wasn’t. Which made her a fraud, because she wasn’t anything of the things that Joyce was admiring her for. “Hey Joyce you thought she was one thing, but she’s not, she’s a fraud, she’s actually more like you, not what you want to be.”

Okay but the person Joyce wants to be is the same person Liz wants to be. This is why Sarah, who in her last appearance was given Joyce huge piles of shit, says that Liz “isn’t any better than you,” she wants the both of them to act how she’s decided they have to be.
They want to be treated like normal-ass adults who are capable of having sex and saying the fuck word without it being a catastrophe.
