      Maybe? Though, it is possible that instead she settles on Becky (Dorothy’s roommate) or Dina (who spends a lot of time in Becky’s room for … reasons).
      I am especially scared she might publish a piece claiming the latter is Amazi-girl. Not for Dina, but for the poor fools that might come after her. That lizard-lady scares me.

    I can’t actually tell what Dotty is trying to do here, but every second seems more ill-advised than the last.

      So, Billie’s vague comments have led Dorothy to believe that Billie has finally begun to suspect Amazi-Girl’s true ID. So she snuck into Amber’s room via the shared bath to give AG a heads-up.

      She finds that AG is not there, but sees the costume spread out on the floor. Realizing the risk to AG if Billie comes by and sees it, Dot picks up the uniform and decides to stash it in her room.

      As she steps into the connecting bath, however, she is seized by the idea of ‘fixing’ AG’s costume.

      I guess the shades but if anything other than a camo look, being obnoxiously bright would draw an opponents attention before being punched lol. Tho i don’t know if blue and yellow clash that much but i know orange is suppoed to be ‘complimentary’

    Am I the only one seeing a connection between Dorothy having this tendency and Joe’s “I want to cook for people because cooking for someone feels like love” thing? It feels like there is a deep embrace of domestic tasks as an expression of care thing going on here, which ranges from sweet to “please Dorothy you don’t have permission to do this, are you okay, are you capable of stopping”?

      I think the main correlation is that cooking for a loved one or cleaning another’s room or assisting them with a task are considered acts of service. Dorothy and Joe both feel the best way to express their love and appreciation for another is by doing a task of some kind for them, especially a domestic one because they usually require emotional labor and having someone else doing that labor is typically a load off of someone’s mind! …Though yeah Dorothy does have a tendency to look at a problem or task and go “nobody doing this? By all means, let me have a go at it!” without really asking for permission. Especially with Amber! We’ll see what Amber thinks about this recurring habit.

    What nobody’s talking about is how Dorothy is obviously going to make Amazi-Girl a new custom uniform with a velcro flap on the crotch. Maybe it’s so obvious nobody felt the need to comment on it (like how Dorothy’s hair is yellow), and now I’m the weird one for pointing out that people sit in chairs, but come on.

      Dorothy now has dreary months of fending off Jennifer without undeceiving her. Everyone else sees that something is going on but nobody comments. Somehow Amber nor AG is ever present when this is happening; both are blissfully unaware.

    Jennifer could have seen the costume on the floor, and all she would have said is, “I don’t care if Amber wants to cosplay”.

    Dorothy could put the costume on and strike a dramatic pose, and Jennifer would just say “WTF are you doing, Dotty?”

    Amazi-Girl could actually walk in front of Jennifer in her street clothes, change into the costume while Jennifer watches, and do some parkour moves, and run off, and Jennifer would just say “Amber really takes that stuff seriously, doesn’t she?”

    “Sal is Amazi-Girl” is Jennifer’s idée fixe, and no costume shenanigans are going to get in the way of that. Reality itself has no chance here.

      Reminds me of a very early Spider-Man in which Dr Octopus unmasked Spidey, he freaked out, but everyone present, including J. Jonah Jameson and Doc Ock, thought it was just Peter Parker pretending for some reason.

        I mean Peter Parker takes pictures of Spider-Man and sells them to a guy who hates Spider-Man and constantly defames him. You’d have to be some sort of crazy martyr to do that.

        If I can trust a very old memory, there was a pertinent plot point for that story that Peter had contracted something like a 24-hour flu (at the end, the next day, he’s shown as being fine). So when he was going up against Doc Ock, he wasn’t fighting like Spiderman — he was staggering around and woozy and just too ill to move quickly. Which was what made Doc Ock confident that the kid under the mask that he had so easily beaten was not the superhero he usually fought.
