Nobody gives a crap about your grades once you have actual work experience as references, so maybe people do know that to some extent. As the saying goes, C’s get degrees.

I know that there’s people who rank 10/10 a little looser. It’s probably why I don’t actually leave many reviews. If you actually asked me how many things I think are 10/10 the list would be super short.

I think FLCL is a 10/10. Probably helped because it’s so short. There’s not a lot of room to add anything and I think the brevity helps every single moment feel significant. The animation is phenominal, the characters are great, the voice acting in both Japanese and English manages to be equally fantastic (which is rare for an older anime.) It’s pretty phenominal.
Also the manga “Shiori Experience” Fantastic art. Fantastic story. Great if you love music. Despite being just a visual medium you FEEL the music. The way they draw the songs being played you can absolutely feel what they’re playing. Probably my favorite manga of all time.
Space Dandy is perfect. Even my least favorite episode of that show is perfect.
