    1. Very much can depend on the underwear.

For all we know, it could have an image of Adam and Eve printed on… but if it was dinosaur-print I imagine Dina would be ALLLLLLL over that! ;D

    2. It definitely depends on the underwear. Some are more sexy than others, and like other people have said, I suspect Dina would love dino-print underwear.

  1. hold on tight! assume the crash position! it’s kablammo, where eyeballs and butts collide. now to take you inside and science the horny, here’s your hosts, dina and becky!

    1. “Well done. Here come the test results: You have Butts Disease. I’m serious, that’s what it says: Butts Disease. We weren’t even testing for that.”

        1. Steve from QC has a bowl, the cereal, and some milk. As soon as he finds a spoon, it’s over.

GOSH I hope there is no spoon.

  2. Am I the only one who finds Dina’s face especially the smile in panel 5 a little creepy? Also, I feel that Becky is starting to pass the ethical threshold in regard to pressuring subjects into continuing with an experiment if they feel uncomfortable.

    1. PS. I am not saying Dina is a creep asaurus rex, just that if you’re going to use scientific experiment to justify your sexy times, you gotta deal with the highly stringent rules of the scientific community’s ethic guidelines. I mean come on Dina you didn’t even get this experiment passed by the university’s ethics board or have a control group – your a bad scientist.

      1. Oh, pox on the Board and their silly hangups. Always pulling the plug on anything “dangerous”. I tell you, those homunculi were this close to merging, before those ninnies decided it was “inhumane” and “against all known laws of man and nature!

      1. Paleontology and kisses sounds more fun to me too. Of course, maybe this is all an elaborate plot to get Becky to turn around with her butt in the air so Dina can steal her wallet out of the back pocket. Even she only gets 20 bucks that’s like two whole weeks of cereal.

      1. Sure but they have a precedent! A good precedent! this scenario here is more likely to end in awkwardness than any kind of euphoria, whereas they both liked kissing the one time they did it on screen.

      2. Very right! The steps look a little different for everyone, and Dina needs the most data possible before she attempts anything on a higher level!

Her passion for science in everything she does is absolutely EXHILARATING! ?

  3. Okay, Becks, just seriously be mindful on whether or not this is something you’re cool doing. We don’t want another Joe and Liz situation.

  4. On the demi spectrum I find this fascinating but not sexy. But I feel like even outside of the demi spectrum this wouldn’t be sexy. But maybe that’s my demi-colored glasses talking

    1. It’s not just your demi-glasses. This is very unusual! Some sexual people will find it sexy, some just strange and awkward, some a combo, or something else.

      1. Yeah, as a non ace or demi, I find it cute and silly, and very endearing but not sexy! If someone, even someone I was into, just mooned going ‘GET A LOAD OF THIS’ me I’d laugh (not AT them but at the situation)

    2. Pretty sure I’m allo, and the only sexy thing about this is Dina’s intently eager and interested expression. … and maybe her hair.

    3. Yeah, I feel like this is the blind leading the blind.
I’m hypersexual (not an ‘addict’ just very horny), and I find this cute and silly but not at all sexy. I mostly want to pat them both on the head.

    4. The things I find sexiest are confidence and enthusiasm, so Dina is quite sexy here in my opinion. Embarrassment can also be a turn-on in some situations, but Becky doesn’t seem to be enjoying herself that way here.

  5. I’m sorry but if someone turned away from me, bent over pulled down their pants and said “You get the full Kablammo!” I’d be very worried they were gonna rip one.

  6. So, uh, I’ve just noticed that the archives have been updated to reveal that the current Book 12 will have five chapters (like Book 11, but unlike every other book from 2012-2020; Books 1 and 2 had six each, but 3-10 had only four each). And, uh, anyone see the title for Chapter 5?

    1. I would like to remind everyone that chapter titles almost always make a different kind of sense looking back on them than trying to predict them. The current chapter title seems to be a prime example (unless something is pulled out at the last minute, it would seem to be the scientific sort of trial, not some legal issue Sarah is involved in as many predicted)

  7. I wonder if Dina’s general inability to read emotions and social situations is causing trouble here. Like I don’t think she’s the sort of person to push someone past their limits if she knows what those limits are. Becky has told her that she wants to do this, so Dina takes her at her word. In Dina’s mind, all is well because this is what Becky wanted and continues to say she wants.

    1. I agree, this is absolutely reading as a “Dina has some form of Autism” moment. She hasn’t seemed to pick up on Becky’s nonverbal “I’m conflicted but I’m pushing myself to do it for you anyway” yet.

It’s not intentional at all. If Becky just flat-out said “we’re going too fast, I’m not having fun anymore” then I bet she’d stop pushing. But since Becky didn’t put that into words, it went right over her head.

Speaking from experience, it fucking sucks when you figure out you’re the one unintentionally making a social situation worse, once it finally clicks.

      1. I may be misreading but I’m also reading this as Becky genuinely being conflicted about what SHE wants and a part of her wanting to do this, for herself, not just for Dina, but she has so much internalized shame about sexythings that it’s making her feel uncomfortable. And perhaps a part of her also worries where the line is about what is sinful in God’s eyes.

Since her aversion to sex seems less “I emotionally don’t feel ready for this and don’t want it” and more “I do want this but feel it would be wrong so am trying to resist temptation.”

        1. Add in post-traumatic “The last time I even began to do sexy things I was ripped out of school and my entire world collapsed around me.”

      2. That sounds like what’s going on here to me. Dina doesn’t seem like the type to intentionally push people to do things they’re uncomfortable doing, especially not someone she cares about like Becky.

      3. I suspect it’s also not a coincidence that it’s only a day after her talk with Joe about “sometimes when somebody says they don’t want to talk about it, maybe they want you to make them talk about it”

  8. And HERE comes the no-win scenario. Glad to see I was spot on. Becky’s got herself in such a shitty catch-22.

Although yeah Dina seems as if she’s being a little pushy, obviously without meaning to be, just not reading signals properly…which is understandable because this is a weird situation. Better communication from them both would be good so this doesn’t get uncomfortable. But I imagine that despite Becky’s weird mixed signals, the next comic is going to involve some form of Dina reminding Becky she doesn’t have to do anything she doesn’t want to, since Dina has been quite clear on that and I imagine she will continue to be clear on it, since she cares an awful lot in general about being clear in her communication and avoiding misunderstandings.

    1. It definitely seems the way Dina would handle it if she manages to pick up on how awkward the situation is getting. That being said, hopefully it will encourage Becky to examine herself a little bit as well to understand what she is also feeling. I don’t doubt their feeling for EACHOTHER but she has to be true to HERSELF as well.

    1. are there sexy ways to describe being horny? Cause I never heard one.
But maybe that is on me, I find the idea of people being horny not appealing at its core and most of the time would rather not know.

  9. Becky is disappointing Dina and, with her, all the readers. Becky, STOP!!!! Dina don’t deserve this!
(Jokes aside, Becky is slowly do it, HOORAY for Becky!)

  10. Becky should have the underwear I saw in a novelty shop – plain boxers with a modest image of a dog, front right, standing on its hind legs, holding a short whip, accompanied by three words “Make me bark”

  11. On one hand, this is a darkly comedic showing of how Becky isn’t just scared of sex, she’s scared of how much she wants it and thinks it’s for the best that she be pressured into it.

On the other hand, a sexually healthy Becky would still involve getting bossed around by Dina, because Becky is a bottom.

Now that I think about it, so’s Carla when she talked about how she wanted Malaya to bully and step on her, Ruth is well-documented at this point too. The heck’s in the water there at IU that turns all the queer redheads into subs?

Drew in Shortpacked! came off to me as a power bottom, ngl

    1. Hi speaking as a partial red head, we have some genetic differences to the rest of the population. The effects can include increased sensitivity to pain, a resistance to local anesthesia and a higher likelyhood of being a massive bottom

  12. Becky’s rejected everything about her cult, that’s kinda the problem. More specifically, it rejected her but Joyce protected her, meaning Becky is right and her cult is wrong.

The way she put it to Dina, she’s already changed so much and defied her entire life. Losing her virginity isn’t just a big deal to her, it’s something that means Old Becky is gone forever, and Old Becky is the one who had alive parents, a Bestie in Christ, and a sense of stability.

Becky rejected everything about her upbringing except the important part, which is God’s unending love for her that makes him perform miracles. She still has a use for sexual purity, and so she holds onto it while, in a bit of cognitive dissonance, hoping that Dina will go wild and pressure her into sex so this way Becky can have that thing she wants and still tell herself she stayed pure and good.

Becky is as messed up by her death cult as Joyce, and when she finally cracks we’re going to be just as surprised.

  13. Wow. I was making fun of people with this viewpoint yesterday but this is way more extreme than my hyperbole. Your comment is genuinely beyond parody, congratulations, i hope you never meet someone with religious sexual trauma

  14. Some of you have very troubling takes on this situation! She doesn’t NEED to do anything. they are literally going at their own pace and that’s the maximum pace they should go.

  15. Aces represent! I am on the sex repulsed side of the scale so for it has been a long process of desensitization. I find Dina’s enthusiasm, even if not really sexual, very endearing.

But I also get the sense that this “science” is two sided. Like Dina pointing out to Becky that being horny doesn’t mean you will attack people. I wonder if Dina isn’t just exploring if she can get pants euphoria from a stimuli, but also getting Becky to find her own limits of what she is willing to do.

I worry that Dina’s emotional distance to the situation might cause her to inadvertently push Becky too far.

  16. Sunday, so Dina won’t find out if Becky has those “Days of the week” panties.

Though come to thing of it, how many clothes does she have? Did she grab a bunch of her stuff from home along with her papers?
