But the logistics would be easier to manage with only 2 bodies and 3 personalities. Also AG and Danny broke up before the time skip so that wouldn’t work as a 4-way either.

Which makes this entire strip feel very different and makes Joyce’s last line read far less horny and far more sad (in “a none of the other girls would play games with me when I was little kind” of way).

          It’s kind of all over the place once you start looking. I remember when his list came out and Joyce noted that she wasn’t on it and asked, ‘What [score] was I, before i hurt you Joe?’, and his response was to leg it out of there.

          Even in an interaction like that where he has to admit to having a genuine crush, mixed with someone having power over him… it causes quite the reaction.

          I feel like with Amber, she’s kind of established as not really fat. Jennifer did put on some weight, it seemed, but still wouldn’t actually say she’s fat. Hot Rachel, yeah, Marcie idk about… but yeah, for the main characters, fatness is kind of absent.

          Fat. They’re saying the cast isn’t fucking fat. Americans are known around for being fat, stupid, and obnoxious. They’re saying the cast doesn’t fit that stereotype. Now, that’s not where I was going with it, because I have some fucking tact, but it’s extremely obvious to anyone who’s sick of cheeseburger jokes what they meant. It’s not remotely clever or difficult to understand.

          And any actual hat stereotype might have has less to do with Americans themselves and more how getting actually healthy food is prohibitedly expensive or flat out unaccessible for a lot of people and lack of government regulation on processed foods making them even more unhealthy that they should be.

        For female characters, there’s two main characters that are at least chubby and a recurring character who’s more. It’s not shown as a negative for them, in fact when other characters are critical of Jennifer’s chubbiness, it’s to demonstrate a problem with them.

        For male characters, you have to get to essentially background characters before there’s any with any body fat to speak of.

      I’m guessing a relic of a lot of the characters coming from earlier comics where they are either superheroes or run-ragged retail workers who often threw their money at toys before food.

      Walky’s gonna soften up a LOT the second his metabolism so much as twitches in a few years. Joe and Jacob probably will noticeably round out too as they get older and working-adult life risks taking time away from their exercise. I imagine Dan’s gonna stay a beanpole forever just because it’s the most Dan physique he could Dan.

Whether or not pankie ensues is entirely a mutual decision.

          It was relevant to “want her friend back,” in thinking of what their relationship was and what getting that back would be. And it seems possible Joyce has inferred there was a romantic element there and acting along those lines. Honestly, a lot of people still miss those details of Jennifer and Alice’s history, and having missed that seemed like a possible reason someone would think “wing-woman” couldn’t fit– rebuilding their relationship could very much mean hanky-panky-facilitating.

      Jennifer considers it perfectly normal to have sex with your same sex best friend at least once. I don’t think her desire to be friends with Alice again rules out that she has other desires. She clearly still holds some love for Alice.

      Also not sure why you are calling her Allison when she has only been called Alice with no indication it is short for anything.
