        It was this line “For your information, Mike and I pound each other every night in the most epic of hatefucks.” The panel just before Dina blows up, that line is put there instead of the normal dialogue.

        It might be worth noting that this is a picture of (Doctor) Faust from the Guilty Gear fighting game series. He wields a giant scalpel (among other noodle implements of war) and wears that bag over his head with the hole in it so he can see where he’s going.

        Look up game footage of him. It’s quite interesting to watch.

      Except for math class where my notes are me taking down the work up on the board, all of my notes look like that. I have auditory processing issues and am an extremely kinaesthetic learner. Doodling or knitting during class improves my ability to process lecture and retain information far more than attempting to take ‘real notes’ does. Attempting the latter means I actually absorb nothing so it’s super counter-productive.

      Everyone’s different, is my point. Notes are meant to help you study, retain information, and follow along. If doodling helps you with things, then they’re effective notes.

        I tend to think of notes more as a measure to make sure the information is recorded, that you might verify it later thus counteracting natural degradation of memory from the length of time between the beginning of the semester and exams. Basically a failsafe in case you forget a couple details.

        Then again, I’ve always been an excessively auditory learner. Terrible at visual or kinaesthetic maters. If I’m looking to follow along and retain information all I really need is to sit down and listen. So yeah, along those same lines. Your notes are what you make of them. So long as they’re fulfilling your needs it’s the farthest thing from unproductive. Really, that’s half the educational experience. Figuring out what your methods of attaining success are.

        In all seriousness, though, I do not like Dina as a love interest for Walky.

        She liked him for who she could MOLD HIM INTO BEING. Walky was trying to drown out the emo in sillyness and what did she do? Complain about being his babysitter instead of accepting that trait.

        Walkys hoodie is wrinkled, but the minute he wears a pressed shirt shes all over him.

        Plus theres the whole “date rape” thing she had going on with Mike.

        I see where shes coming from, I get her reasoning, but I don’t like her for Walky. Not even Mike. Good kid, though. Desperate, kinda.

          I can understand being rather displeased with It’s Walky! era Dinah. This being a (presumably) different Dinah, however, I’d be more open to the idea, myself.

          It’s worth noting she wanted some normalcy in a world of craziness. Her methods of attaining it might’ve been flawed, but I can’t blame her for doing everything she could to carve out some sort of existence outside of being ‘the unimportant background girl’.

          DoA, on the other hand, doesn’t have two-foot tall alien dictators, alternate-universe British ninjas, or a cheese-headed pseudo-god. (At least, not outside of cartoons.)

          She’s had very, very little face-time in DoA, and what little we have seen of her just shows she’s shy, or at least not good with groups. Give her some time to devlop an actual character before writing her off.

          Some characters have remained constant; some have changed. We don’t know either way with her.

      Well, who’s left? We know that Walky and Dorothy have a soft spot for the same fictional cartoon, Joe likes pretty much anything with boobs, Billie likes the bottle, Danny likes nerdy girls in glasses, Roz likes being on camera, Ethan likes Batman, Ruth likes femurs, and Mike does your mom. I guess that leaves Joyce, Sarah, and Sal.

      Personally, I’d kind of like to know what makes Sarah weak in the knees. The fact she’d probably be determined not to let it show only makes me more curious.
