    Firstly, Joyce, you must know that you left yourself wide open for that. Secondly, Dorothy, I’m sorry but Joyce is your friend and, because she’s your friend, you’re not allowed to take advantage of a wide open goal like that.

    I’ve got to add that Joyce should in no way feel that she has to change her language and how she thinks just because she’s rejecting her parents’ belief systems.

      It had never occurred to me before that Mickey Mouse’s exclamation could be seen as a bowdlerised “Hot damn!” And now I don’t think I’ll ever not hear it as that.
