    dina was always my most favorite character in the series. she’s probably going to date mike again to show how un-innocent she is, b/c willis is a heartless person toying with our emotions

          Actually, it’s an obscure reference to a book that inspired a Disney movie about British nannies stealing a dinosaur skeleton from the British Museum. It was so long ago that I can’t remember the title of either book or film, but I do remember the nipple print incident and how a young bobby was trying to figure out how he’d use it to break open the case.

    The end of the comic will reveal that Dina was never real and was just a mass halucination brought on by the stress of college life and the desire for someone worse at socializing than themselves.

        That’s what I thought, but the alternate read of Joyce’s comment is hard to ignore, and given that expression… now I’m thinking we’re seeing the exact point where the simultaneous thoughts “Oh my lord Joyce and I think alike” and “Joyce sounds so lesbian right now!” merge and become “Wait a second, what does that mean about how I feel about Joyce?”

    I have a friend like Dina (not inept, just so “transparent” he pop up unexpectedly among us often), he is a nice guy though. Much more talktative than Dina but love to “disappear” even when he’s still in the group.

    Tbh friend like that is rare. They are good guys and we need to support them more. But tbh I don’t want Joyce to be the one who teach her. Maybe Walky…. ok scratch that, I will Dorothy or AmaziGirl. She need confidence, not another heartbreak.

    I just realized that none of them have shopping bags; guess the trip was a bust. Billie failed at teaching Joyce to shop. (she was obviously too fixated on shipping Walky/Dorothy)

    Is it really so puzzling why Sarah’s blushing like that? Its not cuz she’s confused about what swaddling means its cuz that’s how she feels about Joyce. Also I find that a strange use of the word swaddling

    “It’s nice having someone around who’s less socialised than ME.” Love Joyce for a) having this moment of self-recognition and b) smiling while she says it.
    Plus, there’s some really great facial expressions in this strip… you could probably create a “how-to” guide for cartoonists just from recent DoA strips!
