Speaking as a fellow former taekwondo black belt in his late 30s who also did the flying-side-kick-over-three-people thing, the height you drop from after that stunt isn’t even close to the gazebo Amazi-Girl just jumped off of, and also you’d be landing on the dojang’s soft padded ground instead of the bricks/concrete she touched down on.
Honestly I’m more concerned about her wrist, the first thing they taught me about falling was NOT to break your fall the exact way she’s doing.

Its better than landing without your knees buckling, the whole point of it is to use your legs as a crash zone so can slow down your descent from a modest height. Its really only when you’re trying to do the stylistic version of it where you’re trying to bang your knee on the ground that it becomes a problem.
Yeah, they hurt. I do a standing land-into-squat, where I do some trigonometry stuff with my leg muscles in order to spread the impact over the time dimension. Also, like… landing on your feet in padded boots is a good idea, the feet have way more tension points compared to the knees and therefore distribute the gravitational force a lot better. DO make sure you don’t over-extend your Achillies tendon, you can get a sprain otherwise, and even a minor sprain can take like a week or two to recover from, ugh.)
(Obviously, learn to ninja roll. If the squat isn’t enough, spring forward into a roll. Distribute the impact across time as much as you can and redirect the fall momentum forward instead of down.)

This is only the second time he’s even seen Amazi-Girl. He didn’t believe she actually existed until yesterday (well, day before yesterday now, technically). It’s dark, and she’s doing the Voice, and moving and acting in ways that Amber doesn’t. It’s not like he’s been up close and personal with both of them repeatedly, like certain people Joyce couldn’t name.
