        If Joyce is only questioning then Ruth’s probably not gonna assume there’s like a committed relationship going on here. Just a whole lot of sexytimes as Joyce very slowly comes to terms with the fact that she might not be straight. Joyce will still be publicly heterosexual throughout leaving open many reasons why Becky could be looking for a girlfriend while nailing Joyce every night.

The tags are for the strip itself, not the content below.

    Not out of character, I suppose, and sadly not uncommon or unrealistic.

      How so? Ruth especially. She was suspicious because Joyce was acting guilty, then backed off as soon as she suspected read the “Questioning?” paper. Didn’t even tell anyone else what it was.

      Billie was a bit worse, but even she backed off quickly. Neither of them told anyone else or attacked Joyce for it.

      Both of them were really trying to distract from their own secret.

          This has been by far the longest DoA week in real time. It’s the first since Week One where we haven’t had a multi-day timeskip, and there was a lot less going on back in Week One. The first three weeks ran pretty consistently about a year of real time; this one’s almost a year and a half already, and we’ve only barely started Saturday.

      To be fair if you were in Ruth’s situation and you knew Joyce had just brought some random stranger in to the dormitory and now all of a sudden she’s acting suspicious with a flyer in her hand, wouldn’t you want answers there and then?
      Actually, just knowing Joyce you’d probably not want to take a chance.
