I like it better — both this comic and, to a much greater extend, Shortpacked! load faster now without the background image needing to be downloadenatifizorized.
His abs are literally made of caramel. It’s a mutation in how his body stores calories. Tragically, as he gets older, they will harden to a Sugar Daddy like consistency, causing stiffness and pain when moving, before he succumbs to hardening of the toffies.
He’s 18. He can eat whatever he wants and stay buff. We’ll see how he’s doing in about 15 years….
Rex Hondo
Try 5 years. A couple of buddies of mine who could eat anything they wanted and never gain weight in their teens had their metabolism grind to a halt in their early twenties. It was hilarious for those of us who were pudgy straight through.

I’ve been 15 for the past 18 years, and people have saying things like this to me for the past decade, they’re still wrong.
I will cheerfully admit to being ignorant of the requirements law schools have, but do pre-law students actually take law courses?
My freshman roomie, eons ago, was pre-law, but moved out of our room and in with a buddy whose roommate had ALSO done the musical chairs things, before the semester was more than a week old. So I’ve got my head cocked at this comic like the RCA dog.
The best information I can find suggests that “pre-law” isn’t typically a major in the typical sense but instead a track for those intending to go to law school with various focuses in the humanities and social sciences. What actual degree one leaves such a track with seems to be variable. Any such courses would not likely include actual course related studies on law itself for first year students, but could toward the end of the program if the focus is political science, sociology or possibly philosophy. A criminal justice or paralegal degree would likely contain actual legal studies earlier and could be seen as a viable prelaw undergraduate path that could open better career potentials during law school. All that is, of course, Earth Prime info, and the universe of DoA may diverge considerably.
Yes, I remember my university residence days. “I am in pre-law”, my new floormate tells me. “No you’re not” I say, “you are in arts”. And you over there in pre-med, it’s called science.
I’m a Criminal Justice major, and we take lots of classes pertaining to the law, also, Vlad is right that to my knowledge anyhow there is no such thing as a pre-law “major”.
Not really any more so than normal. Willis is really good about not actually showing characters looking straight on most of the time, so it’s usually less noticeable that her ears are slightly atypical in size compared to most everyone else in this comic.

Oh god! The color scheme! WHY IS EVERYTHING DIFFERENT.

I don’t see any change?

Sierra suddenly just became my favorite character.
Yotomoe
Sierra’s been my favorate character since January 25th 😛
Sarah
I went to remind myself of January 25th and I accidentally went to Jan 25, 2011… Best. Mistake. Ever.

You are so right. I thank you.

That is a spectacular accident. Coincidentally, my dinner tonight consists of an entire bag of Chipotle BBQ
NachitosDoritos.Vivvav
Sierra has to be the most chill person in the world.
Yotomoe
Dr. Freeze might take offense to that.
Aizat
Nah, he might take offense if you threatened his wife though.
Wonder Wig
Dina is Dr. Freeze’s wife? Oh.. no… this trows a major wrench in my fic.
Eposi
Wouldn’t Captain Chill be more offended?
Aizat
What happened to the background?
Wonder Wig
The authorities never found Sierra’s body, but her roommate was curiously not bothered.
David Herbert
Oh dear, will Walky seduce Sierra? Maybe a threesome shall ensue?
Aizat
Walky? Seduction? Are we talking about the same guy here?
Yotomoe
He IS sculpted out of Caramel.
TacosForever
Caramel: a seductive food, or the most seductive food?
But I think it’s more like Sierra seducing Walky with her enticing shoelessness.
Plasma Mongoose
If she’s also a fan of PJ jeans, we may end up with Ship To Ship Combat.
Yotomoe
A game of BattleShip, if you will.
Plasma Mongoose
The trick to winning Battleship is having the luck to being able sink the patrol ship early on.
Joe H
Walky knows what the girls like:
And that’s a man that can literally kick his shoes off and launch them halfway down the hall.
Aizat
That and his caramel abs. Which is surprising considering his diet.
Yotomoe
Maybe he eats lots of caramel and has gained their power.
Aizat
Wait, Walky is Kirby?
Yotomoe
Yep. He has to be careful when making out with Dorothy or he’ll be come Blondie Walky. or Brainy Walky. or perhaps the ever popular, Glasses Walky
Aizat
Too bad there’s no Shades Walky or Bowtie Walky or Fez Waly.
fellixe
And if Walky ate Jabber Jaws… Or the moon?
Wonder Wig
I prefer my Arctic Camo Walky and Wlkin’ Walky with real Walkin’ action!
Zaphod Beeblebrox
Those need to be a thing. Like NOW.
I know the statues exist, but action figures of the Walkyverse/Dumbiverse would be awesome.
DaJoshMaster
Don’t question the caramel!

I don’t know why people think you need conflict to make a story awesome.
Aizat
Well, they need to move the story along.
Tristan J
Man, I’d watch Sierra and Walky hanging out until the end times.
Yotomoe
Sierra & Walky. I GUESS I’ll have to draw THIS too! Thanks a lot, psonge bobbies.
Yotomoe
Jokes on you! I didn’t put all my effort into it! HAHAHA!
Yotomoe
here you go spongebobbies.
Audiophillie
That is just adorable.
That Damn Rat
You don’t need conflict to make a story awesome, you need to for there to be a story period.
Tristan J
Not necessarily. I’ve enjoyed stories where the entire plot was basically ‘character walks from here to over here’.
I mean obviously some stories absolutely require it, but not every story.
Pyr05
You read the Lord of the Rings??
or was it See Spot Run?
Kindra
Conflict in a storytelling sense doesn’t mean “two characters fight.” In storytelling, it means the thing that is motivating the characters to act.
For instance.
Conflict: I want McNuggets.
Resolution: I’ll go to McDonalds and buy McNuggets.
Rex Hondo
Thank you. I wanted to point this out, but couldn’t come up with a good way to phrase it. Need more coffee…
addude
Sierra X Walky is setting sail
Rex Hondo
I’m pretty sure it’s Sierra X Walky X Dorothy.
Nearphotison
I notice that last panel isn’t phrased as a question.
Maveric1984
Alex Trebek wouldn’t let you get away with that.
Aizat
And Sean Connery wouldn’t let Alex Trebek get away with that.
TacosForever
But Alex Trebek’s mother might let Sean Connery get that.
TacosForever
*get with that. For a nickel.

You just made me think of Faz Walky.

Is Walky’s choice of pants a sign of him being considerate?
IMHO he sould of wore the pajama jeans if he wanted “live the dream”.
Kernanator
Haha, reminds me of last year, me and my roomies threw rotten grapes of the balcony at night, just because.
Yotomoe
reminds me of that time me and 4 of my friends accidently ran over a dude and promised not to tell…oop.
Kernanator
It’s okay~ Your secret’s safe with me!
