      I don’t know how often Joe plays games, but I’d still bet on you. If it were me, I would be betting on Joe. Despite 250 hours of me using Link, fighting my amiibos, practicing moves/basics, and studying the weaknesses of every character, I still suck at smash bros.

          Honestly Kirby’s aerials are all really good. It’s just his specials that are holding him back. They’re all slow and they don’t deal enough damage to justify it.

          Yeah but even his good aerials belie a worse problem. That being he’s much too slow. If he was even a little faster he probably wouldn’t struggle so much. As it is he also just gets hard countered by anyone with a sword. Which is like 1/3 of the cast.

But anyone who has the willpower to sustain it can develop a stand, regardless of their desire to master it.

    Oh my god the close ups. Even if the ship-ship doesn’t sail quite yet, I really want a Joe and Joyce to just hang out more. Like, I will be thrilled beyond belief if they go get pizza and it doesn’t even occur to either of them to call it a date because actual friends.

    And then an extended thing of ‘but aren’t you two dating?’ ‘No! We’re just together constantly as friends and he smells good shut up’

      This seems much more likely than an actual ship sail. But you know what? I’d fucking take it! The attraction is still there and you can be friends with someone first before you decide to move to dating. Happens all the time! It’s often healthy! And more than anything else, I want Joe and Joyce to be *healthy* when they hook up. That’s the only version of them that has a chance of lasting.
