          I am now worried that Mike is perfectly fine, that whole thing was a misdirect, and that Willis is about to kill Becky for real.
          Like, the narrative elements fit alarmingly well. He puts out that he broke a rule then drops Mike off a stairway with no further info. He makes us think for ages that Mike is dead. He teases us with Mike being dead a few days ago. He then has Becky joke about dying… and then has a bullet hit her through the window. They rush her to the ER, but can’t save her. Meanwhile, Mike is sitting in an ER bed eating jello or something with bandages on his head.
          Like… I’m seriously scared that I have just guessed the next week worth of comics.
          I really don’t want to be right about this.
          Please let me not be right about this.

          *She “needs” to be straight, obedient, unquestioning, etc and these things are basically the polar opposite to being Becky.

      I see I wasn’t the only one who noticed. XD I was also impressed by how well Joyce knows Becky to have been able to see through that.

      It’s hard to focus on that when part of my mind is visualizing reluctant Joyce/Dina sexytimes though. 😛

    That escalated quickly. Seriously. I didn’t expect this to go this far. Well, now Joyce has to have sex with a woman that believes in evolution. Not sure if Dina wants to have sex with a creationist.

    Joyce and I are kin in this regard. It’s a ridiculous promise. In the long term, it’d of course be evidently ridiculous and Dina would not be in a happy relationship. But Joyce absolutely means it. And in the long term, if Becky did die from this, Joyce would absolutely make it a personal mission to look out for Dina and make sure she’s happy and okay.

      And actually, that is the spirit of the bible rule they are quoting. The idea that the widow is looked after and not alone. The marrying and sex and having children part is optional, but the “left behind partners need to be cared for“ is still up to date!

      I remember something like that happened to me once, and the reason for it was that I kept capitalizing random letters in my email to get a different DoA character as my avatar. Apparently if you do that too much, it stops allowing your comments through. Of course, that was before I started using this Twilight Sparkle image as my avatar.
