I don’t know, given that Dorothy’s last views on the subject boil down to ‘if I’d been more hands-on about guiding Joyce she wouldn’t have done this gross thing.’ This plaus the awkward/embarrassed look at Ethan says that Dorothy’s main goal for now at least is the ‘guidance’ (which constitutes control of Joyce, however gentle and well-intentioned) she mentioned..
