I have a hunch DoA!Sal places a higher value on stealth than Sal Prime, since she lacks the superpowers to make getting spotted no big deal. So she’s like a ninja biker chick.
So do the dorms have like a security check-in or something, thus requiring her to sneak in through the window? I know some schools have that and others don’t.
Nah, she just thinks she has to rebel against everything, even social convention. Of course, the irony here is that coming in through the -WINDOW- is going to attract attention, especially of people like, oh, the campus security/police…
Ironically, she’s failing to rebel against the rebel social norm, isn’t she? After all, don’t all Rebels have a history of sneaking out through their windows? If she were a true rebel, she’d rebel against being a cliche rebel.

actually roommate agreements do hold weight if brought to court, so they are legal documents in a sense. Usually they don’t contain anything original though so other agreements are brought up first in the event of a disagreement.
This reminds me of the 80’s Sesame Street Christmas special where Big Bird falls asleep on the roof waiting for Santa, just missing him. Somehow the visual looks similar (not that Billie looks like Big Bird or anything).
Someone else remembers that.. excellent! Yeah, this does kind of give off that vibe, but I’d like to see the first realization between the two they are roommates.
